Live registration of the composition "Apollensdorfer Groove" performed by the band KOPPIÉCASSIE featuring Jan Ruerd Oosterhaven. The composition is a contribution to the film music of "Hey, Little Blue". With my filmteam we have done the concept of a scene with the protagonist Bertus drawing a horse with a bird and the concept of a scene with the bird flying in the factory hall while Bertus meets the workwoman Anneliese, with whom he falls in love. My grandson Lucas (15) is a talented saxophonist and composer, and he has composed film music for the factory scene entitled “the Apollensdorfer Groove”. The sound of the bird can be heard in the mechanics of the composition.
The feature film "Hey, little Blue" is a fictional biography about the war years of the passionate Dutch poet and visual artist Lucebert, who lived from 1924 to 1994.
